Vunani Fund Managers has announced the launch of four VFM co-named funds on the Boutique Collective Investments (RF) Pty Ltd (BCI) Platform: Vunani BCI Global Macro Fund; Vunani BCI Equity Fund; Vunani BCI Bond Fund and the Vunani BCI Short Term Interest Fund.  Vunani Fund Managers is making its proven asset management expertise more accessible to the retail market by partnering with the leading large independent Collective Investment Scheme provider, BCI. Collective investments have thrived to become the preferred investment vehicle of retail investors to gain access to a range of investment markets. With their low minimum investment amounts, flexibility, daily liquidity; and high levels of transparency, it is no surprise that they have gained exceptional popularity.

We are a client-centric business that focuses on delivering risk-controlled investment returns to our valued investors via a highly experienced, focused and academically well qualified team of investment professionals.  With the launch of our four Unit Trust Funds, we are addressing our goal of bringing institutional-quality offerings to the retail and private wealth communities, said Snowy Masakale, Chief Executive Officer of Vunani Fund Managers.

Vunani Fund Managers has a highly reputable, 20-year track record in the institutional fund management business.  Several funds that we manage have been recognised by the industry by achieving Raging Bull awards.    “The fund range being launched represents a milestone in our business evolution and we are particularly pleased that we have been able to create both local and offshore capabilities.  Our funds allow a wider range of investors to access our product range across a range of asset classes.” says Safs Narker, Chief Investment Officer of Vunani Fund Managers.

Vunani Fund Managers: credentials

Our investment team collectively has 251 years of experience, at an average of 18 years’ experience per person. That is a large number by any measure, and an especially important number for Vunani Fund Managers which has an outstanding 20-year track record.  The launch of our BCI co-named funds comes in a year that marks the 20th work anniversary for Tony Bell, who manages the Vunani BCI Global Macro Fund.  Rowan Williams-Short, who manages our Fixed Interest Funds recently celebrated his 30th anniversary in the investments industry with approximately half of that at Vunani Fund Managers.  The Vunani BCI Equity fund will be managed by Safs Narker, who has 19 years financial markets experience.  As new opportunities pour into our company, attracting and developing the best talent in the marketplace remains a priority. In line with diversifying our institutional capability, we bolstered our investment team with four new investment professionals and launched the Short-Term Interest Fund, managed by Ntobeko Stampu, who has 15 years’ experience in financial markets.
